Understanding The "SIGN-UP" Process *(Merchants
can be accepting credit-cards in as little as 2-3 business days)
Step 1: Request an Application.
 |
Upon request of an application Access Group will take some
brief information from the merchant over the phone so that an
application can be set up for him accordingly. |
 |
Application is faxed to the merchant along with instructions
and a “Checklist”. |
Step 2: Complete and fax back application.
 |
Merchant completes, signs, provides the required documentation (a voided check which provides direct deposit info and 3 invoices from 3 of his customers which provides further documentation that merchant is an ASI member and is in the promotional products industry) and faxes back to Access Group. |
Step 3: Approval Process.
 |
Access Group reviews application for any missing
information and submits the completed application to NPC for Approval. |
 |
NPC approves and issues a merchant ID number
(usually within 2 business days) and gives merchant number to
Access Group.
*(More than 99% of all ASI merchant applications are approved). |
Step 4: Access Group orders (applicable) Payment Gateway, Terminal or ships Software for approved merchant account.
 |
If Payment Gateway: Access Group constructs Payment Gateway and log-in info is e-
mailed to merchant. |
 |
If Terminal: Access Group orders Terminal and NPC ships pre-programmed Terminal to
merchant. |
 |
If Software: Access Group ships Software along with complete set-up/installation procedures to merchant. |
Step 5: Merchant Receives Payment Gateway Log-In, Terminal
or Software.
 |
If Payment Gateway: Merchant logs in online using temporary password, changes password and can begin processing credit card payments. |
 |
If Terminal: Merchant can plug-in and connect
terminal to a phone line and merchant is able to begin processing
credit-card payments. |
 |
If Software: Merchant is instructed to contact
software company to have Customer Support walk him through
installation and software configuration. Once software is fully
installed, merchant is able to begin accepting credit-card
payments. |
 |
All merchants also receive separate, generic
Welcome Kit directly from NPC. |
